Callous thief steals jewellery from elderly woman
POLICE are hunting the callous thief who stole jewellery from an elderly woman in Southampton.
They say the thief broke into the woman's house in Bradley Green between Monday and Wednesday through an insecure front door.
They are believed to have gone upstairs, searched two rooms and then gone back downstairs and stolen a purse from the kitchen.
It contained £200 in cash, a bank card, pension card and bus pass.
They also stole costume jewellery including a pair of diamante drop earrings, a diamante necklace and a gold coloured bracelet.
Anyone who saw anything is urged to call the police on 101, quoting 44150392360.
