Rush-hour traffic chaos on Hampshire motorway
TWO rush-hour crashes caused traffic chaos on a Hampshire motorway.
Two lanes of the M27 westbound were closed between junction 7 and junction 5 after a crash, which happened at about 6pm.
And a slip lane was closed on the M27 westbound at the junction with the M271 after a collision involving three cars and a lorry.
Significant delays were being reported as far as junction 8 heading westbound while there was slow traffic on the eastbound carriageway between Hedge End and Rownhams Services.
The collisions were cleared away by 7.30pm.
