Record-breaking charity shoebox collection
A HAMPSHIRE Rotary club has thanked donors to its shoebox appeal after a record collection.
Bishop's Waltham Rotary received 290 boxes of toys, toiletries and other goods for children in poverty.
Bishop's Waltham chairman Peter Yeoman said: "That’s a lot of children around the world with a smile on their faces, and that’s just from our area."
