ISUZU'S new facelifted '07 Rodeo is now available in range-topping Denver Max LE trim, complete with its standard Prodrive Performance Pack, which boosts power from 136 to 167PS.
With first deliveries due in early June, the Denver Max LE offers the ultimate in pickup luxury at an affordable price - especially for business users.
Priced at £19,999 on the road (excluding VAT) in manual form, standard equipment includes a Prodrive performance pack and 18in shadow chrome alloy wheels with 255/60 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres. It also boasts leather seats and door inserts, an LE mesh grille, a tough load-liner and a new branded LE hard top.
In addition, customers benefit from a DVD satellite navigation system with touchscreen plus a hi-tech Bluetooth kit.
Other Max features include a soft-type front A-bar, chrome side steps, rear step bumper, rear light guards and brushed steel door entry guards. This is in addition to air-conditioning, four electric windows, leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless-entry and selectable 4WD or 2WD at speeds up to 60mph.
The Prodrive performance pack increases the new 2.5 litre turbo-diesel engine's power from 136PS to 167PS at the same 3,600rpm.
Even more significant is the torque boost, which leaps from an already healthy 217lb/ft at 1,800 rpm to 292.8lb/ft at 2,200rpm.
Top speed is governed to 102.5mph but the 0-62mph time comes down from 12.8 to 11.7 seconds.
Prices for the three-model range start at £13,990 for the Rodeo, with the mid-range Rodeo Denver Max costing £15,990 (both OTR but excluding VAT.)
