Scene of the collision
A CYCLIST died after colliding with a van on a New Forest road yesterday.
The man was riding along the B3055 Beaulieu to Brockenhurst road near Hatchetts Pond when he was involved in the fatal collision at around 11.40am.
The 55-year-old cyclist died from severe head injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, especially cyclists who were in the area at the time of the accident.
