A Falkland Islands exhibition goes on display at the civic centre tomorrow to mark the 25th anniversary of the war between the UK and Argentina.
The exhibition features the recent history of the islands and includes the work of amateur and professional photographers.
Exhibitor Sukey Cameron, the Falkland Islands Government UK representative, said: "This exhibition is an opportunity to reflect and say thank you to those who fought for our freedom and also to show how the Islands have developed since 1982."
Councillor John Hannides, cabinet member for leisure & culture, said: "The port of Southampton played a key role in supporting the task force as they sailed to the Falkland Islands in 1982. We are proud to be hosting a series of events to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the conflict."
