A runaway car is the only structure preventing a Waterside resident's garage from collapsing, days after it smashed into his property.
The Ford Fiesta veered off Foxcroft Drive, Holbury, and ended up embedded in the side of Alan White's garage.
Police have warned him that any attempt to remove the Fiesta could cause the garage to collapse.
Mr White's car has been marooned in the wreckage of the building since the late-night accident.
He said it was the third time his property had been damaged by cars careering off the road.
A total of seven accidents have occurred in Foxcroft Drive in the past three years, including the three outside Mr White's house.
Pinch points were now due to be installed in the road to slow the speed of traffic.
The Fiesta was being driven by a 19-year-old Waterside woman.
