HAMPSHIRE'S commercial property agents have a chance to tackle their competitors in the second annual touch rugby competition dedicated to the trade.
Backed by the Daily Echo, developers Rok and agents Lambert Smith Hampton, the fun event, called the Commercial Property Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament, is a fundraiser for the Wessex Cancer Trust.
Agents are invited to submit mixed squads of ten from which six-strong teams are made which must feature at least one woman and women's tries score double.
Last year's event, which raised more than £2,000, saw a side from Goadsby in Bournemouth triumph over Lester Aldridge in the final.
Event organiser Graham Holland said: "You don't have to be good at rugby to have a go at this.
"Lots of people were involved who had never played or even handled a rugby ball before.
"You do need to be reasonably fit to run around but it's a game everyone can play. It's all about enjoyment."
The tournament takes place on June 8 at Trojans Rugby Club in Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh. To enter, contact Jo Bennett on 023 8033 0041 or e-mail jbennett@lsh.co.uk.
