YOUNGSTERS have been busy baking up a storm to help a meal service in Hampshire.
To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, mums and pupils at St George Catholic College put on their aprons and kept busy making pancakes to raise £250 for Mary’s Meals.
The event was organised by parents as a way to celebrate pancake day with their children at the Southampton school and support the organisation, which provides meals to some of the poorest children attending schools across the world.
Pupils were also treated to a visit from Cedric Soares, the Portugese international defender for Saints, who came to say thank you for the support of the Charity Mary’s Meals which is in partnership with Southampton FC.
