A TEENAGER was robbed of more than £200 after a night out in Southampton when his attacker threatened to slash him in the throat with a glass bottle.

The 19-year-old had just left the Dungeon nightclub when he was approached by a man at the junction of Mount Pleasant Road and Imperial Road.

According to the victim, his attacker walked straight up to him and pinned him against a wall, putting a glass bottle to his throat.

He then demanded the teen hand over his wallet.

As he was making the demands a second man approached and told the victim he was carrying a knife and that he had better do what the first attacker said.

At that point a third man also appeared, though police say he did not take any active role in the robbery, and all three then ran off in the direction of Empress Road.

As well as the cash, the victim also lost his driving licence and a bank card.
