WALKERS are urged to join a stroll through the New Forest in aid of a Hampshire-based charity.
Asthma Allergy and Inflammation Research, which works to help people with asthma and allergies, has organised a ten-mile walk on Saturday, June 23.
It has been named the Sunshine Stroll and will take walkers through hidden villages and past beautiful flowers and wildlife preserved by the New Forest. The proceeds from the guided walk, which costs £12, will go to the world acclaimed asthma and allergy department at the University of Southampton.
The walk will begin at 10.30am but people wishing to join the medium-paced stroll are asked to arrive at 10am.
AAIR charity director Caroline Pope, who has already walked the route, said: "This was a wonderful walk full of the scent of flowers and wild garlic, taking in open views."
Anyone interested in joining the walk should contact the charity on 023 8077 1234.
