Bird lover's in Hampshire are being warned to lock up their aviaries after a raid on a property in Totton.
More than a third of the collection of owner's Robert and Julie Keats was stolen in the break-in, which police say is the third in the area in recent months.
The burglars forced open the door to the aviary, though it is not known how they transported the birds away.
Mr and Mrs Keats are now warning other bird owners to take extra security precautions, and have appealed for the animals back.
