COLDPLAY drummer Will Champion has surged ahead in The Daily Echo's competition to find Hampshire's Top 100.
Votes have been pouring in after we asked our reader to name the Hampshire citizens they thought had made the biggest impact around the world.
Will's leap to the top of the leader board means Dire Strait's frontman Mark Knopfler has sunk to second place.
We will publish all the winners in a special supplement on June 20 to pay tribute to Hampshire's true talent.
