SOUTHAMPTON has been revealed as one of the most popular UK destinations for spring travel.
Coach company National Express has revealed the top ten most popular places in the country in terms of passenger arrivals based on their advanced booking figures.
Southampton came in fifth, only beaten by Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol and finally Birmingham which clinched the top spot.
National Express managing director Tom Stables said: “Southampton is an amazing city with an enviable heritage, packed full of things to see and do so perhaps it’s no surprise people are booking in droves to visit this spring.”
