The West End Road junction with Chichester Road
TWO people have been trapped in their cars after a smash on a road this afternoon.
Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision between two vehicles that occurred on West End Road in Bitterne, Southampton.
According to firefighters two people are trapped in their vehicles and fire crews and ambulance are freeing them.
The crash has brought traffic to a standstill on West End Road as it has been closed in both directions near the junction with Chichester road.
