A MAN appeared in court today in connection with the death of Ringwood mum-of-two Tereasa Cutler in a car crash.

The 49-year-old died in a collision on the A31, near to Lake Gates in Wimborne, as she drove home from her sister's funeral in June last year.

Her 18-year-old daughter, Alice, son Daniel, 16, and 19-year-old nephew, Joseph Woodland, were also in her Ford Fiesta and suffered injuries in a collision with a BMW 3 Series.

Lewis Faulkner, 25, of Coburg Road, Dorchester, appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court earlier today charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured and three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He entered no plea to all offences and spoke only to confirm his name, address and date-of-birth.

District Judge Steve Nicholls referred the case to crown court.

Faulkner will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court at 10am on Thursday, May 19.
