Seven-mile queues on motorway after crash
COMMUTERS faced rush hour queues of up to seven miles after a crash on a main road.
A Vauxhall Corsa hit the central reservation and ended up blocking a lane of the A27 eastbound where it changes from the M27 close to the turn off for Eastern Road, in Drayton.
But this incident, which unfolded just before 5pm yesterday, caused queuing back on the eastbound M27 to junction 9 for Park Gate.
Police said no-one was injured.
