A TEENAGER has been charged with attempted murder after an incident at a school in Hampshire.
The 14-year-old girl was arrested after police were called to Petersfield School on Monday.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the school in Cranford Road at 9.35am.
A 15-year-old girl was taken to Queen Alexandra School in Portsmouth for treatment for a minor injury.
She is now recovering at home.
The 14-year-old arrested by police, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of threatening a person with a blade or sharp pointed article on school premises.
