TRIBUTES have been paid to a Hampshire man who died in a motorcycle accident while he was on his way home from work.
Damian Langan bought his first motorcycle, which had been one his passions, while he was working at Tesco's distribution centre at Nursling where he made many friends and enjoyed his work.
The 24-year-old father of one was a pupil at Hedge End's Freegrounds Infant and Junior School and Wildern Comprehensive.
He lived in Hedge End until he was 17.
Damian, who lived near Bordon, had started a full-time with Tesco in November 2004.
A statement from his family said: "Damian was full of character and a bit of a lad but never a more caring chap you could ever meet.
"He loved a beer and a laugh and, of course, a good yarn over a cigarette.
"But most of all he loved his family and friends, especially his daughter Bethany and his motorbike.
"For each and every one of us Damian was special for our very own reasons."
The accident happened on the A3004 at Kingsley, near Bordon at 9am on Thursday. May 24.
