A DAD-of-three has been ordered out of his housing association home after breaking an agreement not to racially abuse neighbours, including a 13-year-old boy.

In what is believed to be the first eviction on racial grounds in Hampshire, Kevin Hutchison has been told to vacate the house in Adey Close, Southampton, which he shares with his pregnant girlfriend.

Mr Hutchison, pictured, has already been convicted of two counts of using racially aggravated threatening and abusive language towards neighbours.

The eviction move by Hyde Housing Association comes after Mr Hutchison, 31, promised housing bosses that he would keep his foul mouth shut.

However, he breached an antisocial behaviour injunction despite warnings to his girlfriend that she would face eviction if he continued.

At a court hearing a judge granted Hyde a possession order for the Sholing house based on evidence of two incidents in September and November 2006 when Mr Hutchison was arrested twice for using racially threatening and abusive words, and then bailed.

Antisocial behaviour officer Charlotte Cooper, who works for Southern Housing Associations Anti-Social Behaviour Response Partnership (SHAARP), which deals with troublemakers on behalf of 14 housing associations in the south, said: "We are delighted to finally have a successful outcome in this case.

"Kevin Hutchison intimidated several residents in Adey Close and we are indebted to a very brave 13-year-old boy who helped us bring this man to justice.

"It is a well deserved victory in the fight against antisocial behaviour and we are delighted that our other residents can now go back to living their everyday lives in peace."

A spokesman for Hyde added: "Hyde takes antisocial behaviour very seriously.

"Hyde has a robust antisocial behaviour policy and works closely with SHAARP to address issues as they arise.

"If there is proof that Hyde residents, or individuals for whom a resident is responsible, are in breach of tenancy then action will be taken under the processes of housing law to remove them."
