THERE are places to go and lessons to be learnt with The Club, the open-to-all social organisation run from Bursledon Suzuki dealer Rob Willsher Motorcycles (part of the Crescent group).
The Club regularly holds ride-outs and biking get togethers.
Next month there's a Poole Quay run with a difference leaving Rob Willsher's at 6.15pm sharp.
Riders are asked to meet at 6pm for a ride to Poole Quay via the Crescent Motorcycles Verwood branch where the current Rizla Suzuki BSB riders, Chris Walker and Cal Crutchlow will join the run and accompany everyone to the Quay.
Now that one is a bit special - it's not every week those guys get to ride with their fans, so put that in your diary.
On Sunday June 17 there will be a ride out to one of the most evocative bike places in this country, The Ace Cafe.
Meet at Rob Willshers by 9.30am for a prompt 10am departure Tonight at 7pm there will be an event at Willshers that could be of benefit to most riders - a talk on how to get the best out of your riding by Bike Safe/Edge 44.
They really do know what they are doing and suggest ways of improving rider skills in an interesting, rather than preachy, style.
Bike Safe/Edge 44 is run by experienced and trained riders who ride in their own time - they just happen to wear police uniforms for work.
Don't expect to be treated like a bunch of naughty pupils and asked what road signs mean, or tested on the Highway Code.
Tonight will be an interesting and enlightening chat based on national research into what can help a rider to get the most out of their riding.
There is no commitment other than your time and, unlike those timeshare gigs, no one will try and sell you anything after the friendly chat - all they want is for all bikers to enjoy their riding.
