THEY will rock you!
The countdown is complete and Isle of Wight Festival, headlined by none other than Queen + Adam Lambert, is upon us.
From My Generation to Handbags and Gladrags, the event, also featuring main stage headliners The Who, Stereophonics and Faithless, is set to provide some memorable moments.
Curator John Giddings has pulled off another coup in attracting Queen + Adam Lambert for their first ever festival date and their only UK show this year. This weekend's Seaclose Park shindig also coincides with The Queen's birthday with street parties taking place all over the country.
Early birds got the party under way last night with a campers only Big Top preview featuring Status Quo, Cast and Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys, the spin off project of Maxi Jazz of Faithless fame.
Thousands of revellers are now making their way across The Solent ready for a weekend full of festival fun and frolics.
Other acts included on the bill are Busted, Richard Ashcroft, Iggy Pop, Ocean Colour Scene and Jess Glynne.
The Big Top features the likes of Pendulum, Feeder, Adam Ant, The Wonder Stuff and Reef. Southampton acts The Novatones (Sunday) and The Lounge Kittens (Saturday) each open a day's entertainment in The Big Top.
Also expect acoustic sets, DJ performances and up-and-coming talent, alongside a huge variety of additional entertainment and activities such as the Bohemian Woods, Kashmir Café and Hipshaker.
