Jack Francis is a singer song writer from Hedge End and got the chance to perform at the festival after becoming a finalist of the Live and Unsigned contest.
The 25-year-old brought a blend of folk, soul and blues to the Isle of Wight festival's Hey Joe stage.

He said: "The show was really good there was quite a few people there and they really seemed to enjoy it.
"I have been coming to the Isle of Wight festival since 2008 and I come every year so I am a regular.
"I am looking forward to seeing a band called Little Comets as well and the Who and Sterophonics."
Speaking about being a musician in Southampton, Jack said: "I think it is better to be outside of London because it is so oversaturated there, it's better to gain a following in your home town and really stand out."
