The Who are likely to bring out "something special" during their landmark Isle of Wight Festival set tonight.
That is the promise from the younger brother of the legendary rock band's guitarist Pete Townshend.
Singer-songwriter Simon Townshend will perform alongside his older sibling Pete on the main stage tonight.
The Who are famed for playing at the milestone 1970 festival along with Jimi Hendrix and The Doors - but have also played in 2008.
Simon also played his own acoustic set today in the Big Top.
Speaking afterwards, he said: "The Who tonight are going to be huge. It's a massive moment and people can expect something special. Pete will be pulling out all the stops. There's going to be lots of films and visuals."
He added that the Isle of Wight is among the top festivals, adding: "It's one of the best. It's something else due to the sheer array of artists with pinnacle acts such as David Bowie, Pearl Jam and Neil Young. These are the creme de la creme."
He added he had a "great response" from the crowd after his set.
