Investigation after reports that military worker escape abduction attempt in Hampshire
POLICE say they are investigating reports of two men "acting suspiciously" after reports that a military worker managed to escape an attempted abduction in Hampshire.
The incident happened this morning between Queens Avenue and Hospital Hill in Aldershot and officers are asking for the public's help.
Two men were seen in a blue Renault Clio at 8.42am and the man, who is a civilian member of staff at the nearby military complex, called police.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Anyone who may have seen a blue Renault Clio with two men inside in the area this morning is asked to contact us on 101, quoting 44160289416."
