A GAP-TOOTHED six-year old singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow reduced Amanda Holden to tears last week.
The 36-year-old actress was a celebrity judge on X-Factor style reality show Britain's Got Talent.
Along with Simon Cowell and ex-Mirror editor Piers Morgan, Holden was tasked with rating the talents of a host of variety acts (incidentally, the six-year-old was pipped at the post by an opera singing mobile phone salesman).
Reality show appearances aside, Holden is best known for her leading roles in hit television shows such as ITV drama Wild at Heart and BBC series Cutting It.
But Holden - who was once married to Les Dennis - made her television debut as an unsuccessful contestant on Cilla Black's dating gameshow Blind Date in 1990.
Since then she has become a star of both stage and screen. In 2003 her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie earned her a Laurence Olivier Award nomination.
