AN EASTLEIGH teenager, who had a brush with death after it's believed she was victim of a rogue batch of Ecstasy tablets, has been discharged from hospital.
There were fears for the 16-year-old's life after she was found slumped on a bench in the town centre.
It is believed that she had suffered an adverse reaction to the drug while on a night out with friends.
She was rushed to Southampton General Hospital where she was immediately put into intensive care.
Today a police spokesman said that the girl was no longer in hospital and had been sent home.
He said: "It is likely to be another couple of days before she fully recovers."
Meanwhile investigations are continuing into the drugs drama which happened just after midnight on Saturday night.
A 16-year-old boy from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class A drug. He was bailed for further inquires and will return to Eastleigh police station on August 15.
