CONFUSED about what can be recycled or composted?
If so Southampton's first council-run environmental show on Saturday could be for you. Entitled Enviro Day', the free event from 9am until 4pm will be held next to the Bargate monument.
Have a go sorting out recyclable materials, get tips on composting and use pedal power to make fruit juices.
Visitors will have a chance to get up close to the original recycled car - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - as well as win tickets to see the production featuring the flying car at the Mayflower theatre in July.
Music will be provided throughout the day with live performances from the Dhol Drummers and the Bollywood Brass band. Southampton City Council's Cabinet member for environment and transport, Councillor Gavin Dick, pictured, said: "Championing environmental responsibility is a key role for the council. A legacy for future generations is something that people have to think of.
"This event is a great way to highlight the importance of caring for the environment while enjoying a fun day out for the whole family."
