Getting fit at a Southampton City Council gym
SMOKERS fighting to kick the habit ahead of the July 1 ban can get a free induction to Southampton City Council's gyms and a discounted joining fee.
By signing up to the Quitters programme at The Quays swimming and diving complex they qualify for the a free platinum health & fitness induction worth £20. Joining fees for Quitters will also drop to £10 in July.
They also get a month free membership when they get their "non-smoking certificate" for quitting. It normally costs £37.
The Quitters team meets on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at The Quays.
