A FOURTH youth has been arrested following a hit-and-run collision involving two youths on a trials motorbike in Southampton.
The crash happened on June 20, in Windemere Avenue, Millbrook, close to the junction of Evenlode Road.
Christopher Baddams, 38, was left fighting for his life having suffered serious head and chest injuries following the crash. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he has remained in a critical but stable condition with his family at his bedside.
The 15-year-old local boy was arrested on Tuesday and questioned at Southampton Central police station before being released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Following the accident the two people on the trials bike fled from the scene, abandoning it in the middle of the road.
Police cordoned off various areas in the estate where it is understood they recovered a number of items including a helmet and clothing.
The road remained closed for several hours while accident investigators made house to house inquiries.
Two 15-year-old boys and an 18-year-old were also arrested following the accident. They have also been bailed pending enquiries and the results of forensic tests.
