ARE you taking part in this year's Race for Life in Southampton?
Would you or your team like to feature in the Daily Echo in the run-up to the event?
Race for Life takes place in Southampton on Sunday, July 15, and 10,000 women have signed up for the popular 5km charity event in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Race organiser Hannah Davies said: "I'm delighted by the response of Southampton's women this year, and thrilled that the event has filled so quickly.
"Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up to take part and help us make a real difference to those affected by cancer."
The money raised by the Southampton race will help support work such as that of Anne Croudass and her team of specialist xancer nurses funded by Cancer Research UK across the UK.
Anne has been chosen as the figurehead for the Daily Echo campaign aimed at encouraging more women to send in their sponsorship money - and she will wear the No 1 shirt with pride.
