THEY are a trio of Hampshire beauties battling it out for the crown of Miss England 2007.
Tonight all eyes in the modelling world will be fixed on the competition to find this year's face to represent the country and Hampshire has three lovely ladies who all want to take the top prize.
After taking the title of Miss Southampton 2007, teenage beauty queen Chelsea Collins, 17, says she is confident about her chances of becoming the next Miss England as she prepares to compete against 91 other beauties.
"I can't wait for the event," said Chelsea.
"You have to be in it to win it and I think I can do very well. But even if I don't win, it is a great achievement for me to get this far and to be Miss Southampton."
Chelsea will be joined by Miss Winchester 2007 Jane Eden, 20, and Southampton's 17-year-old Virginia Morton who won the Miss Photographic heat to land a place in the final, being held in Leicester.
All three young ladies will have faced a three-day ceremony starting on Thursday to make it through to the last 30 places in tonight's final round of judging.
There will be a number of opportunities for the girls to be fast tracked into the final 30 including an eco-fashion party, a talent contest and a public text message vote which Daily Echo readers can still support until lines close at 8pm.
The final night will also see all 91 girls take to the stage of the Athena in Leicester for a professionally choreographed Bollywood dance performance as well as a bikini round, cocktail dress competition and evening gown contest to impress the judges.
The judging panel will then select a final 30 girls who will win a selection of beauty prizes before seven contestants will be chosen for interviews on stage where a winner will be selected as Miss England 2007.
If successful, Chelsea, Jane or Virginia could then be off to Poland to represent England in the Miss World finals and stand the chance of winning $100,000 (approx £50,000) and to travel the globe helping deserving charities worldwide.
They will also be seen by audiences across the globe as Miss World is the second biggest television show in the world, second to the Olympic games with in excess of 2 billion viewers across 150 countries worldwide.
