BUILDER Rok has sealed a deal with commercial property developers Hargreaves on a 853,000 project.
Rok is constructing 15,000sq ft of industrial units at Hamilton Business Park in Hedge End, which will range from 2,000sq ft to 3,000sq ft for warehouse and industrial use.
Marc Shrubsole, contracts manager for Rok, said: "This is an exciting project for us and we are delighted to be working in partnership with Hargreaves.
"We are acknowledged specialists in business and office parks and clients like the integrated and innovative approach we can offer."
Work has now started on site following an official turf cutting ceremony with representatives from Rok, Hargreaves and commercial property consultancies Lambert Smith Hampton and Atisreal incorporating Neilson Holt.
Rok's teams are constructing the steel framed industrial unit, then carrying out all the brickwork, cladding and shop front glazing.
Hargreaves has developed and retains around 2.2 million sq ft of office warehouse and industrial and retail warehouse properties across the south-east.
