The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
Kurtis Roger Lake, 20, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £105. Compensation of £100. Victim services charge £20. Costs of £85. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Fined £50.
Hugh William Charles Downes, 26, of Ranswood Lodge, Furzery Lane, Beaulieu. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £120. Victim services charge £30. Costs of £85. Disqualified for 40 months. Disqualification obligatory for the offence. Disqualification to be reduced by 40 weeks if by the defendant satisfactorily completes a course.
Christopher Edward Ellyatt, 27, of Newlands Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £350. Victim service charge £35. Costs of £85. Disqualified for 18 months. Disqualification to be reduced by 18 weeks if the defendant satisfactorily completes a course.
Harry Jonathan Nelson, 19, of Pandora Close, Locks Heath. Pleaded guilty to drink driving.Fined £288. Victim Service charge £30. Costs £85. Disqualified from driving for 16 months. Disqualification to be reduced by 16 weeks if the defendant satisfactorily completes a course.
Paul Carey, 33, of Chadwick Road, Eastleigh. Found guilty of harassment. Given a community order and told to complete 120 hours unpaid work and a two-year restraining order. He was also ordered to pay £300 costs and a £85 victim surcharge.
Gavin George O’Neill, 38, of Furzehall Avenue, Fareham. Pleaded guilty of breaching a restraining order, harassment and breaching a suspending sentence. Sentenced to 22 weeks in prison and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
Mitchell Judd, 24, of Liverpool Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving a motorbike without due care and attention. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 in costs. He was also given six points on his licence.
Jaroslaw Krzyszt Warzynski, 30, of Hanns Way, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage of two phones.Told to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activities and 60 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Daniel Dewhurst, 22, of Napier Road, Swalwell, Newcastle. Found guilty of driving dangerously without a licence or insurance on Lake Grove Road, New Milton. Dewhurst was given a community order and told to complete 180 hours of unpaid work and pay £280 to the court. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Jordan Alexander White, 22, of Sydney Road, Gosport. Pleaded guilty to assault, resisting a police officer and for not paying for food he ordered and ate at Fuchis restaurant in Totton. Given a six-month community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and told to complete a thinking skills programme. He was also ordered to pay £291.05 by the court.
Vlad Cornel, 28, of Bullar Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding on Maybray King Way, Southampton. Given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £130 by the court.
Robert Rickman, 63, of Lower Mead End Road, Mead End, Sway, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to operating an illegal facility, namely a waste operation, to store, recycle old vehicles, scrap metal and waste tyres between October 20, 2013 and August 19, 2016 in Sway. Ordered to pay £1,586 by the court.
Nathan Banham, 24, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to travelling on a train without paying £10.20 fare. Ordered to pay £634.20 by the court.
Mark John Clark, 38, of Phillimore Road, Southampton. Found guilty of travelling on a train without paying his £3.40 fare. Ordered to pay £627.40 by the court.
