Two lanes of the M27 were closed following a camper van fire.
The incident blocked the lanes between junction 8 for Hamble and junction 7 for Hedge End westbound.
Drivers were facing delays back to junction 9 on Sunday.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed the fire has been put out by crews from Hightown, St Mary's and Fareham.
There are still delays while traffic returns to normal.
