SHE'S been playing the Daily Echo's Find The Ball competition for more than 40 years and she's now in the money with a £12,000 win.
Linda Canty of Mercer Way, Romsey, has scooped this week's bumper runner-up prize and will be treating her three children, six grandchildren and two step-children with some of her winnings.
The delighted 67-year-old, who has previously won a couple of £15 prizes, said: "I can't think of anything I really want to buy. It will go on the children and the grandchildren."
Other winners this week were Mary Allcock, 73, of Meredith Towers, Thornhill, Southampton, who won £8,000. She will use some of the winnings to travel to her grand-daughter's wedding in Cyprus later this year.
Another prize of £4,000 went to Julie Butler, 44, of Oslo Towers, Weston, Southampton.
The three runner-up prizes were distributed because no one won the overall jackpot of £50,000.
