National commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has successfully let 6,695 sq ft of retail space at 8/9 Queens Parade, Waterlooville. LSH acted on behalf of The Larger London Land Co. Ltd, a privately-owned local investor.
The new tenant is Mr J Cooper, trading as Mr Cheap - a local retailer of bargain household goods with a number of other stores in the area. The tenant previously operated from another site on Queens Parade on a temporary basis, and has made this move to benefit from permanent premises.
The property, which comprises 3,921 sq ft of floor sales and 2,774 sq ft of first floor storage space, has been leased on a 15 year basis at a commencing rate of £50,000 per annum.
Garry Cherrett, Director at LSH's Fareham office, commented: "The location of these premises is ideal for this local retailer, delivering a prime town centre site close to the pedestrianised section of Waterlooville's main shopping area."
