FIREFIGHTERS were called after a blaze broke out at a Southampton recycling centre.
Emergency services are at the scene at Belvidere Road, Northam, and warned residents to keep their windows and doors shut yesterday morning.
The road was and motorists were being advised to avoid the street itself, as well as Victoria Street, Rochester Street, and Belvidere Terrace.
The blaze broke out at about 3am and follows a number of other fires in the area in recent days.
Fire crews from St Mary's, Redbridge, Hightown and Eastleigh are currently tackling the blaze in Northam.
