A TEAM of ten from Southampton legal pracice Paris, Smith and Randall has so far raised £1,405 for Cancer Research UK.
Team member Shelley Moodie explained that one of their team members, Marie Brichard, had breast cancer four years ago and was now on the road to recovery.
"We are running for a special cause," she said.
"Also I am joined by some other friends who have entered a team on behalf of Southern Water and raised nearly £600. In that team is one of my good friends who lost her dad to cancer last year.
"I've lost count of how many times I've done Race for Life now now, but think it's my fifth. It's such a great day.
"Some of our team are running and some will walk. We've been out training on the Common since Christmas.
"Marie had cancer four years ago but she has recovered now.
"We won't be the fittest team on the common, but we're in it to have fun and enjoy the day," she said.
