SUMMER has got off to a soggy start in Hampshire with more than double the average amount of rain for July falling in the county.
Met Office figures show last month Hampshire received 118% more than its average rainfall.
As previously reported, drivers in Southampton had faced travel chaos as the rain was so heavy that major city roads were closed due to flooding.
The storm also led to spectacular displays in the skies over the county.
Unfortunately, August won't be getting off to a sunny start either, with more rain forecast this afternoon.
