DRIVERS faced long delays on a Hampshire motorway due to a broken down vehicle blocking the outside lane.
Queues began building at junction 11 for Winchester on the M3 shortly before 4pm due to the blockage on the southbound carriageway.
Delays stretched back past junction 9 for Winnall.
The van was cleared by police at around 5pm, but rush hour traffic is still causing delays.
