Fire crews had to race to property near Romsey after a first floor kitchen was discovered ablaze.
Two engines from Romsey fire station rushed to the property on Butlers Close near Lockerley just before 3pm this afternoon.
Two hose reels and one safety jet were used to put out the fire, with emergency services leaving the scene at 3.43pm.
No one was injured in the blaze.
