England Women suffered heartbreak as goals either side of half-time saw them knocked out of the European Championship.
Hosts Netherlands secured their place in Sunday’s final with a 3-0 win that capitalised on England’s errors.
Despite an even start, the hosts took the lead when new Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema headed across Chamberlain and into the far corner after 22 minutes.
A resurgent response almost saw the Lionesses draw level, hitting the woodwork four minutes later.
Chances came and went for both sides before a costly misplaced header from Fara Williams saw Danielle van de Donk pounce, clipping over the keeper.
Despite more chances, England were unable to claw themselves back into the game, before an own goal sealed the win for the hosts.
Netherlands will face Denmark in Sunday’s final.
