HUNDREDS of photos have been entered for the Daily Echo's first Camera Club competition, but it's nearly time to announce the winner.

From those hundreds, we've selected 20 of our favourites – 15 of which are pictured today – which stood out the most after members were asked to share a unique image that best represents summer in Hampshire.

Tomorrow, we will revealed the top five – and we will be asking you to pick the winner.

Daily Echo chief photographer said: "The response has been astonishing, we've seen lots of photographs covering a range of subject matters.

"It really has been hard to pick out the five most deserving of the prize."

From tomorrow, Daily Echo readers will be able to vote on the top five and the image with the most votes by 12pm on Saturday, August 12 will be turned in a canvas by Southampton camera store Jessops.

The winner will also get to go on a level one or level two photography course with the Jessops Academy, worth £120, where experts will help you improve your talents behind the lens.

The winner will be announced in Tuesday's Daily Echo.
