A MAN was rushed to hospital after a “medical emergency” at a fast-food restaurant in Hampshire today.
An ambulance was called to McDonald’s in St George's Street, Winchester this afternoon.
Witnesses saw the man being taken out of the fast-food outlet on a stretcher.
It is not known why the man was taken to hospital.
A McDonald's spokesman said: “We can confirm an incident occurred at our Winchester restaurant this afternoon in which a customer became unwell. As soon as our restaurant team were made aware of this incident, the team acted swiftly to offer first aid assistance and to call an ambulance.
"We wish the customer a full and speedy recovery and hope to welcome him back in restaurant soon.”
