THE Met Office says Southampton could see a thunderstorm this afternoon as unsettled weather continues across the county.
There is currently lightning in the north of the county and forecasters believe it could head south in the next hour.

A Met Office statement says: "Some early brightness, however cloud will soon bubble up with showers then developing.
"These will turn heavy and thundery in the north with a risk of hail and gusty winds, although they will tend to ease later in the afternoon."
