A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man was discovered dead in the bath at a Hampshire house.

Emergency services were called to the address in Bracken Road, North Baddesley, last night. Police cordoned off the area while a full examination was carried out.

Police later issued a statement to say there were no suspicious circumstances.

A police spokesman said: "The body of a deceased male was found in the bath in Bracken Road, North Baddesley yesterday.

"Further inquires are ongoing by police at this time. However nobody is wanted in connection with this matter. At the moment there is nothing further to add."
