QUADRAPLEGIC sailor Geoff Holt has set another record during his epic single-handed journey around the UK.
The 41-year-old has touched down in the Isle of Man after sailing 68 miles in 13 hours - a record for a quadraplegic sailor.
Encountering basking sharks, puffins and seals on the way, he sailed the 15ft Challenger trimaran past Port St Mary and into Peel on the island.
Last night, for the first time in 55 days, he moored his boat and travelled to Port Erin where he was staying in a hotel with his team - instead of motor homes parked on docksides or campsites.
Geoff's next scheduled stop is at Port Logan, Scotland.
He will be leaving the Isle of Man as soon as weather conditions allow on the next leg of his Personal Everest project.
