THE bigger the better seemed to be the motto for Year 11 pupils from Toynbee School gathering for their leavers' prom at Botleigh Grange.
An impressive collection of classic cars, stretch limos, supercars, a horse-drawn carriage, and even a group of Harley Davidson riders descended on the Hedge End hotel.
Posh frocks and smart suits were very much in evidence, as the youngsters from the Chandler's Ford school came together as a group for one last time.
"It seems like an excellent way for them to end their time here," said assistant head of Year 11, Rebecca Webber.
"It's a big celebration and they've been planning everything for a few months, and although it was Friday 13, we were lucky with the weather."
