Residents of a Southampton street are living in fear after an infestation of venomous spiders.
Skipper Close, in Marchwood, is crawling with False Widow spiders - hanging from doorways, hiding in kitchens, under beds and scuttling in and out of roofs.
The invasion of the eight-legged beasts has even put a 17-month-old child in hospital.
The toddler was bitten while sleeping in his cot, causing his leg to swell with excruciating pain.
